Email Tasks
Question 1: From an email I can work out what kind of program a person uses with their email, where it be web-based such as 'hotmail.com' or using outlook such as '@blueskyers.com.au'.
I'm still not too sure how to work out the path that the email took, but by looking at the 'full-detail' of the email, it is possible to work out the route that the email travelled... So much more to learn!
Question 2: I find it useful to use the 'cc' function when I send an email to a company on behalf of someone else, and I carbon copy it to THAT person. I find 'bcc' very useful in sending emails that I send to others to myself, so that I also have proof of sending AND a copy of it. 'Reply all' is useful for me when I reply to ALL the receipients of an email, to let them ALL know what I thought of what was received.
Question 3: I can ensure that an attachment that I send is easily 'openable' by a receiver by making sure I attach it properly, and even 'bcc'ing it to myself so that I can test if it opens.
Question 4: I have two types of filters/rules set up, and one is used to limit the amount of junk email that I receive. The other helps achieve the same goal, by blocking certain address from sending email to me.
Question 5: I have organized the folder structure of my email with a folder for 'David' and put all funny things that I wish to review later. I also put messages related to my church in 'church' and messages from my uncle 'Gogu' in the 'Gogu' folder. This helps me quickly and easily locate such messages when I'm looking for them, and keeps my emails much more manageable.
